Alex Walker’s Berry Smoothie

Our BOSS model Alex Walker is a dedicated health and fitness enthusiast. Alex has worked for numerous brands and is always on hand to inspire us with his nutrition-packed snaps on Instagram (@al3xwalker). This Veganuary, he has put together a plant based smoothie to keep you fighting fit against the cold weather.

Alex says, ‘Smoothies are a perfect way to stay healthy even when you’re in a rush: Just throw it all in your blender and off you go. Try this berry recipe for an easy way to start a busy day.’

Ingredients
A handful of blueberries/about 1 cup
2 soft medjool dates
2 frozen bananas
2 cups of Oatly milk or any nut milk
1 shot of Udos choice oil
A sprinkle of desiccated coconut to top

Add 1/2 a cup of oats as a slow release carbohydrate to keep hunger at bay until lunch.  

Method
Throw all of the ingredients into a blender and whizz up until smooth. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut just before serving.
