Yesterday marked 100 years since women attained the right to vote – an anniversary which as an Agency full to the brim of strong female influence we wholeheartedly commemorate.
The suffrage movement in the UK began right here in our beloved city of Manchester, home to the first ever public meeting that took place regarding female rights in 1868. This is where the first Women’s Suffrage Committee was established and lead by Manchester’s very own powerhouse Emmeline Pankhurst.
In light of the anniversary we recognise the fight our ancestors endured to ensure a much more promising future for the women of today. We encourage our clients and team to celebrate the influential females in their lives, and remember those who made all the difference so long ago.
