Happy Burns night!
As we celebrate the birthday of one of Scotland’s most successful poets, it’s important to remember the real meaning behind this historic day.
Burns Night is celebrated annually on the birthday of the celebrated Scottish poet Robert Burns. The occasion sees Scots and non-Scots around the world pay tribute to the poet’s life and works, and to Scottish culture. Of course our MD Debra Burns is the namesake of Robbie and a big fan she is too.
Now…there’s no Burns night without a Burns Supper! Get your pots and pans on the stove…Here’s what’s on the menu!
Traditionally meals include Haggis – Non-meat Haggis is available in local superstores, not only does it help with a very healthy diet, but it also goes very nicely with turnips, potatoes, (a lot) of whisky and of course dancing!
Och aye the noo Debs!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend
