Up close and personal with Emmie 😍

Meet Emmie,

Our gorgeous Boss Main Board beauty who has walked shows in Milan, landed campaigns in Tokyo and has the ultimate chic wardrobe. We wanted to get to know more about our Boss babe and what she’s been up to. Grab a cup of tea and enjoy, it’s Q&A time ✨

What is your beauty must-have/s for a hectic fashion week?

Fashion week can be a very stressful time and personally, it can really take its toll on my skin. So I try my best to keep drinking lots of water and doing face masks 2-3 times a week. The Lancome hydra intense is my favourite, it may be a little pricey but will last a lifetime.

You have the most gorgeous, sleek and loveliest hair, please tell us, what is your secret?

Thank you! I like to compensate for over washing my hair by treating it with nice products. I use shampoo, conditioners and masks by Nexxus which are amazing and have done wonders for my over coloured hair. Also never skip the heat protectant it’s so important!

How do you prepare for a fashion week? Any top tips?

I think it’s important to keep an open mind with Fashion Week. There may be a lot of castings but you’ve just got to understand that not everyone is going to like your look and that’s ok.

We see that the casting queues can be quite busy, how do you cope?

You’ve got to be patient. You’ll get your turn eventually! Try and be as early as possible for your first casting and it should make it easier at each one. It’s also good to judge how long the queues are going to take, sometimes it’s better to leave to go to another casting and come back later.

What are you listening to right now?

I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I’m still loving Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino by Arctic Monkeys.

What book are you reading? Anything you recommend?

If you like a good thriller/mystery then I’d definitely recommend the couple next door and a stranger in the house by Shari Lapena. I spend a lot of time on trains so a good book is an absolute must-have.

Do you have any snacks inside your model bag?

I always carry little snack bars around with me in case I get hungry and don’t have time to stop for lunch.

Any top tips for models trying to break into the industry?

Never never give up. I know sometimes it seems like it’s not going to happen but as long as you have the right attitude then everything starts to fall into place.

And if we could teleport you anywhere in the world right now for business or pleasure where would you like us to send you?!

I’d love a couple of weeks in the Caribbean. Just somewhere super hot and chilled. It feels like forever since I’ve been away for a holiday and not for work!
